How to Apply

If you are interested in applying for an INF Short-term Fellowship, please see the list of conferences that we will be funding below. Follow the instructions as they may differ for each conference.

Short-Term Fellowship Eligibility
In order to be considered for an INF Short-term Fellowship to attend a conference or workshop, you must:

  1. Have an accepted abstract to the conference or be accepted to the workshop program
  2. Be a citizen of a developing country, employed or studying at a developing country institution
  3. Be under the age of 40
  4. Have not received an INF Short-term Fellowship previously (does not apply to INF/EMF fellows)

INF gives priority to applicants who:

  1. Have an accepted oral presentation
  2. Are presenting on or specializing in research relating to protein and amino acids, maternal and child health, growth and development, and nutrition and infection
  3. Are young researchers or students from developing countries who have had few opportunties to attend an international conference

    TO APPLY: The ANLP has its own process for awarding grants, and they will decide who to give INF funding. Please inquire with ANLP organizing committee or during the application process. INF will not accept applications for ANLP funding directly.

  • African Nutritional Epidemiology Conference (ANEC), September 30 - October 4, 2012, South Africa. For more information, visit http://www.answeb.org/blog/anec-v-2012
